Test Global Privacy Control in the Debugger
The Cookies tab on a journey action now shows only the cookies that action set. Before, it listed every cookie present at that step, including ones carried over untouched from earlier actions. To answer “what did the Accept All step actually set?” you had to scan the Most Recent State column row by row.
How it works:
• A “Set in This Action” toggle sits next to Filter Cookies and works like Primary Tags Only.
• When it’s on, the table shows cookies that were Added, Changed, or Set again. No Change and Deleted are hidden.
• The Cookies tab count and the three summary cards follow the toggle, so the numbers match the table.
• It’s on by default. If a user turns it off, that choice is saved in their browser for every journey until they turn it back on.
• Export still includes every cookie for the action, with the toggle on or off.
• Audits are unchanged.
You will see fewer cookies on a journey Cookies tab than you are used to. That’s the filter, not missing data. Turning off the toggle brings back the full list.
