We’ve rebuilt how API credentials work in ObservePoint to give you tighter security, clearer visibility, and much more control over your integrations.

What’s New

• Multiple, Named Keys: Create unique keys for specific tools, partner scripts, or internal jobs. If you need to rotate one credential, you can regenerate it without breaking any other active integrations.
• Tighter Security: Keys are now shown only once at creation, no plain-text credentials sit on profile pages anymore.
• Usage & Expirations: Track when a key was last used before revoking it, and set optional expiration dates with automatic email reminders before keys lapse.
• Admin Controls: Admins get a full, account-wide view of every key in the account and can set up credentials for specific identities without sharing logins.

What About Existing Keys?

• Zero Breakage: All existing API keys will continue to work as normal.
• Hidden Values: Plain-text values are no longer displayed on your profile. If you lose a credential value, simply generate a new key.

How to Access It Find the new Key Manager under the Settings gear and select API Keys or via the API Access card on your profile page.
